I had planned to meet another viniyoga teacher today and begin a search for a space to use for adaptive yoga classes and private yoga therapy sessions. Her dead car battery has put us in stall mode...I am waiting for the call that perhaps the car decided to begin cranking over again - or not. Sometimes even cars are mirrors for us. Ever feel like you just don't want to turn over, exert any energy at all, wish everyone would leave you alone, and pull completely out of the rat race. This is where the yoga practice one has been working with steps in and you realize its just part of the whole, the interactive play of life. Its funny that neither she or I are upset or out of sorts, we each are going with the facts....and patiently waiting in present calmness. Its nice to see effects of learning how to calm ourselves down and minimize reactivity that is really cool...ahhhh!
well, I just this moment received her call so now I am adjust and I play the role of chaffeur and still enjoy - the search begins!

Welcome - New possibilities

Clear Saturday morning, bright, sunny, shining tree leaves, ever so gentle breeze, wind chimes barely sounding, birds chirping happily (I listen to the different varieties of bird calls), tree branches waving and encouraging me outdoors...ahhh, after an early morning yoga practice of asana, pranayama, mantra, mudra and meditation, I now head out to the day ahead of me. Perhaps I'll walk down by the river (I need to get moving!) and then on to yoga teacher training class. I'll greet the class, collect their practicum sequences for review and then later return to class with supportive guidance to help refine the students' understanding.
Meanwhile, The History of Hatha Yoga taught by Ellen will engage them with the ideas of lineage and tradition and where all this yoga comes from anyway! (connecting the dots)
I begin an active transition into a new phase of my yoga teaching here in Austin with exploration of where and how to nest my work (identify workplace) and continue to follow the thread of yoga, teaching yoga teachers, teaching beginning yoga students, teaching privately and offering yoga therapy to those seeking guidance and wellness.

You know how it is to have good intentions to do things... and then how to avoid doing things that would be good to do....well, I am stretching out beyond the latter and beginning to write and simply put it "somewhere out there."
